Courtyard Arts is also committed to art in the community and is regularly involved in arts projects 'off site' in conjunction with other organisations. Courtyard Arts also has provided arts activities for a wide range of user groups. In recent months these have included, Young Carers Association, Hertford Town Council, Schools, Special needs organisations and social clubs, Corporate and private events. 7th Courtyard Arts Open - Call for Entries

Best in Show £200

Courtyard Arts Centre in Hertford is delighted to announce the Call for Entries for the 7th Courtyard Open exhibition. The closing date for entries is Saturday 31st March.

The Courtyard Open is an annual event open to artists for both 2D and 3D work. The Courtyard Open exhibition will be at Courtyard Arts, Port Vale, Hertford from Thursday 5th to Saturday 21st April. The private view and prize giving will be held on Thursday 5th April at 7pm (award ceremony 8pm)

Last year a record 250 artists from across the UK entered the exhibition, and around 50 works were chosen by the judges.  This year the judges are:

A first prize of £200 will be awarded for Best in Show, with commendations for works that particularly impress the judges.  Last year's winner was Tewin artist Brian Reeves for his painting  Sister A.

Entries can be handed in at Courtyard Arts on Friday 30th or Saturday 31 March.
