What have your class members been working on during lockdown?
Every Friday, I post a new project idea up on our WhatsApp group along with some resources including images and links to articles or podcasts. Themes so far have included “What’s in your fridge?”, drawing hands and feet, and a look at the painter Gwen John, whose work reflected a life of solitude.
Members of the group then post pictures of their drawings during the week for tutor feedback and comments from the group. Everyone is incredibly supportive and it’s been a great way to keep in touch, as well as (hopefully) creating a sense of purpose and a gentle nudge to keep on being creative.
