Helen’s paintings in acrylics are semi abstract landscapes based on observation, memory, and an emotional response to places in her life. Through these she explores colour and texture. The colours are a personal reaction to location and time and the smaller studies are mixed media and explore line; these underpin the more abstract elements of the landscape paintings.
