COURTYARD ARTS – PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE

We start the year with a special exhibition. We will be celebrating all things Courtyard Arts. Looking back through our history, the people who started it all, the way the centre has grown to the community it is today and what are ambitions are going forward.

BRICK BY BRICK PROJECT

As part of the exhibition of 2025 about Courtyard Arts over the years, we would like to ask members, staff, volunteers and students, apart and present, to create a brick to be displayed on the wall as part of the exhibition.

  • You can use any piece of card or Art paper, but please keep it to shape and size of the template attached. You can do more than one. The brick size is 272mm x 132mm.
  • It can be a painting, drawing, photograph, print, a piece of writing about a memory of Courtyard or person related to courtyard,or poem, textiles, 3D (as long as it stays the size of the brick template below and can be hung). The aim to build a wall that represents the Courtyard Community.
  • All completed bricks to be returned to Courtyard, with your name and contact number on the reverse, by 11am on Monday 6th January, when the exhibition is to be hung. This is a free activity and we hope you enjoy being part of the exhibition.
