WILD REVERIE
STABLES GALLERY
Courtyard Arts is delighted to announce Wild Reverie, a new solo exhibition by UK-based artist Juni Hounslow who creates under the name “JuniPerloony”, opening on 12 May. The show invites visitors into a vivid, dreamlike world where wild creatures, quiet thinkers and lush botanicals coexist in a tapestry of colour, pattern and emotion.
Drawing from the artist’s signature mosaic‑inspired, stained‑glass aesthetic, Wild Reverie showcases a collection of richly textured works that blur the line between the real and the imagined. In Juni’s words, it is:
“A world of creatures and dreamers, stitched together in colour and pattern… inviting you to slow down, look closer, and lose yourself in the gentle magic of it all.”
Across the exhibition, tigers rest in peaceful stillness, flowers seem to hold unspoken thoughts, and human figures appear suspended in moments of contemplation. Juni’s work is celebrated for its ability to balance strength with softness — capturing scenes of rest, curiosity and quiet emotion with warmth and originality. As the artist reflects, her pieces explore:
“Moments of rest, curiosity and quiet emotion… where the wild meets the reflective, and stillness becomes something powerful and alive.”
Influenced by iconic imagery and expressive creativity, Juni’s compositions resonate with a sense of gentle wonder. Each piece offers viewers a moment of calm in an increasingly busy world — an invitation to pause, breathe and reconnect.
Exhibition Dates: 12 May – 6 June, 2026
