From a Love of Art and Animals to Needle-Felted Portraits.

Sam has lived in Welwyn Garden City for over 50 years. Growing up, she was drawn to Arts And Crafts, spending hours making, creating and exploring different materials. Her other passion is animals and their unique personalities.

Today, Sam combine these passions through needle felting, creating detailed animal portraits using wool fibres and a barbed needle. Each piece is carefully built layer by layer with care, patience and attention to detail to create a lasting keepsake that captures the essence of the animal and the memories they represent.
