Everyday encounters with the surrounding world provide the starting point for a collection from University of Hertfordshire student artists:
An artist’s practice can be seen as an ongoing investigation, the surrounding world being the subject matter. Everyday encounters and their objects become materials for the artist to flesh out in the studio. In the gallery, the space invites extraction of the richer context and relationships with the outside world.
