Each artist has been given an identical cardboard box and the simple brief to transform it into whatever they choose. The scope of the metamorphosis is limited only by the artist’s imagination. Each mundane cardboard box is ‘unpacked’: its myriad potentialities are explored and it is transfigured into something extraordinary.
