“Shirley was a talented pen and ink artist and watercolourist with no formal training. She specialised in landscapes and botanical illustration. 

In her later years she turned her talents to painting on porcelain. Unfortunately, she stopped painting as dementia took hold and passed away aged 89 in February 2025.    

Many of these pieces were not known to the family until we were clearing her house. For the porcelain piece she had also kept all the design and test painting work in piles of sketchbooks.”
