Frances has drawn and painted all her life, so it has been perfectly natural for her to paint her way through Covid.
Beginning by cutting up unfinished paintings into roughly postcard sized pieces, which gave her some colours and shapes. She then started altering them, painting on top, playing. When she liked one enough, Frances stuck it to her spare room wall – until she had two walls completely covered in lockdown paintings. Which is this exhibition.
With each postcard being for sale from Saturday 5th November, you will be able to take them straight away, the exhibition will seem like it is vanishing over its final 7 days on show.
