In this short course we will study drawing, watercolour and acrylic in three separate workshops. The course will start with the drawing workshop where we will work with a variety of different mark makers including soft pencil, charcoal, soft pastel etc.
For the second workshop our focus will be on watercolour and we will learn about its varied qualities, working on wet and also dry paper and gain an in-depth understanding of the sequence of painting from its broad beginnings to its final detail.
Our final workshop will be acrylic painting, gaining an understanding of this bold paint and exploring its qualities from transparent washes to opaque overpainting and also its sequence from beginning to end.
Class Dates: Drawing – 16th November, Watercolour – 23rd November and Acrylics – 30th November.

Class suitable for adults, no experience necessary
Requirements
We welcome beginners and more experienced artists. Students can bring Materials with them to use, otherwise, for those new to the medium, all materials can be provided for a one-off charge of £5 – please contact us to arrange after booking.
