Working En plein and weather permitting we will work on location in close proximity to Courtyard Arts. Drawing, taking photographs. Simple watercolour, coloured pencil or soft pastel studies will be created on location and then taken back into the studio to develop further.
Working from observation and focusing on composition with the use of a viewfinder we will create a small set of thumbnail drawings and the photographs that you have taken will inform the studies that will be developed in the studio.
Experience
Class suitable for adults, of all abilities
Requirements
We welcome beginners and more experienced artists. Students should bring watercolour paints, drawing pencils, charcoal and paper and /or sketchbook (for those new to the medium, all materials can be provided for a charge of £5 – please contact us to arrange after booking).
