Monoprinting is the most painterly method of printing and can be combined with collage, painting and other printmaking techniques.
Join us for a fun day of drawing from various natural forms and man made objects then translating them into unique prints.
We will be working with oil based inks. Be prepared to get messy and please dress down!
Class suitable for adults or over 16’s if accompanied by an adult. No experience necessary.
All inks and printing equipment and printing paper will be provided on the day
Things you need to bring
• Sketch book A4 or A3
• A range of pencils e.g. HB, 2B, 4B – don’t worry if these are not exact as long as you have a pencil
• A biro
• A pair of scissors
• An apron or old shirt to protect your clothes
• A small bag of rags e.g. 2 old t shirts cut up. These will be used for cleaning up
• A roll of baking parchment. This will enable you to take your work home safely
