Higgins Bedford Gallery & Museum, 30th May 2018

Edward Bawden

Join us this month for a visit to Higgins Bedford.

The Higgins showcases art and design collections of international significance alongside locally-themed exhibitions.

Discover the wonderful world of Bawden’s Beasts – Edward Bawden’s extraordinary range of work featuring creatures great and small.

Also showing: Celebrating Women of Bedfordshire – including the work of Bedford’s own Dora Carrington – and Break The Stigma, a mindful art display by people with experience of mental health issues.

There will be plenty of time, too, to take in neighbouring Bedford Castle’s ruins and enjoy riverside walks along the Great Ouse. Throw in a spot of lunch and a great day out is promised!
